Project Description

This webpage provides information on surface hydrodynamic conditions within the Bay of Fundy. Observed data of water levels and wave conditions from a variety of sources are displayed under the ‘Observed Data’ tab. 

Forecast model results from a 2-dimensional coupled hydrodynamic and surface wave model are displayed and validated against observed data. Real-time results are updated every 6 hours, and predict water levels and waves out to 48 hours based on forecast results from an atmospheric forecast model, the High Resolution Deterministic Prediction System (HRDPS).
